The Par 72 Golf II BlackBerry App by RESETgame is a realistic 3D golf game for the BlackBerry. The game features three 18 hole courses rated par 3, 4, and 5 which are set in mountain, desert, and seaside environments. Each environment has obstacles ranging from hills, water, sand traps, and sloping greens.

The graphics for this game were very impressive. The controls are simply and easy to use so you can focus more on the actual game rather then having to get used to the controls first. The game presents some real life challenges such as realistic wind, aerodynamics, gravity, and friction. At some points during the game you will need to use the perspective view, zoomable overhead view and wind and distance indicators in order to overcome these challenges. Your clubs will be automatically selected for you based on each stroke’s situation which can be a good and bad thing. It’s a good thing because for non-golfers it makes the game less complicated however, actual golfers who may have wanted this as an option might be disappointed. My suggestion to the developer would be to add the option to turn off the automatic selection feature and allow the player to select from the 11 clubs for each stoke.
