BlackBerry App Reviews:
How did you get into developing apps?
Swoosh Software LLP:
Mobile computing has always fascinated me and I have been developing apps since getting my first PDA 1998. Like many others it started as an interest but quickly turned into a full time career, and it has been amazing to see the capabilities of the devices leap forward in huge bounds.
BlackBerry App Reviews:
What was your inspiration for developing this app?
Swoosh Software LLP:
When the BlackBerry Pearl came out it almost fit my needs perfectly but there was no decent Sudoku implementation. SwooshSudoku was written to allow me to play quality Sudoku puzzles anytime and anywhere. All of our applications are written to satisfy real world needs and the catalyst is often a personal need or that of a friend.
BlackBerry App Reviews:
What do you think users will like the best about your app?
Swoosh Software LLP:
The feedback we get from users is that they love the clean look of the application and the simplicity of the user. Sometimes less really is more but with SwooshSudoku we let users decide by allowing them to turn features on or off as they desire.
BlackBerry App Reviews:
Are there any hidden features to the app?
Swoosh Software LLP:
Not everyone realizes that you can set the background to be any photo and you can even control how transparent the game is.
BlackBerry App Reviews:
Do you have any future plans for this app?
Swoosh Software LLP:
We have a companion application called SwooshKakuro which pairs quite well with SwooshSudoku and we would like to add some community features to both applications.
BlackBerry App Reviews:
Do you plan to develop any new apps? If so when can we expect to see them in App World?
Swoosh Software LLP:
We have a long list of applications we would like to develop to further enhance the BlackBerry experience. Some are games and some are utilities and we hope to release regularly throughout the year.
